Vogmask and nCoV 2019 Novel Corona Virus
USE OF RESPIRATORS AND THE NOVEL CORONA VIRUS 2019 nCoV 2019
Vogmask is efficient for protecting from viral and bacterial airborne particles, fitted properly. Please see link below for testing on Vogmask N95 filter class for viral and bacterial filtering efficiency at >99.9% from our annual audit testing, including Particle Filtering Efficiency, Inhalation and Exhalaltion Resistance, and Total Valve Leakage. For environments where cross-contamination is a concern, a single use surgical mask is recommended. (see important note below)
You are advised to wash your hands before and after you take off the mask.
A mask cannot be the sole preventive measure, other factors like personal hygiene, good hand washing practices, etc must be observed. If in doubt please consult your doctor or health practitioner.
IMPORTANT: Particulate respirators like Vogmask are designed to protect the wearer of the mask from inhaling known contaminants including airborne bacterial and virus. If the primary objective is infection control, ie. the mask wearer is sick, and you want to prevent transfer to others, a single use disposable surgical mask is recommended.
